Yeah, I could try to update that open-source driver, but that wouldn't give me an excuse to use a Teensy. I would like to use a Teensy 3.6, with its built-in USB Host and USB MIDI capability, to create a two-way converter for Casio Keyboards that required the "Casio USB-MIDI" driver. the newest driver I can find is from an open-source project, last updated for Mac OS X 10.7. It required some Casio USB-MIDI driver, not available for macOS 10.13. (Someone really took care of this keyboard its condition belies its age!)Ģ. However, when I plugged the keyboard into my Mac and launched Audio MIDI Setup, the keyboard didn't show up.Ī few quick web searches later, and I discover that:ġ. I did some research beforehand, and thought the USB was MIDI-compatible. I recently purchased a second-hand Casio WK-110 from Goodwill.
